Komsomol on the world stage

A former member of the communist youth organization Freie Deutsche Jugend, Angela Merkel, lobbied for the release of another former communist youth organization member, Mikhail Khodorkovsky. A former colonel of the KGB, Vladimir Putin, released Komsomol member Khodorkovsky couple of days ago. The West has not learned the rules of the Soviet/Russian spectacles yet.

Communist youth organizations members were to become future leaders. There was no such thing as being simultaneously a democrat and a member of the communist youth.

Fake movement, fake newspaper

The weekly Polska Niepodległa (Independent Poland), www.polskaniepodlegla.pl, is a fake paper of the fake National Movement (Ruch Narodowy). No surprise in a country where everything is falsified.

The Stalinist republic

Fundamental human and civil rights are systematically violated in Poland. People standing up for truth and dignity are subjected to acute forms of psychological torture. These measures are based on the know-how of the former Communist secret services. The apparatus of the current Polish state functions as a de facto organized crime. This phenomenon should be thoroughly analyzed and dealt with accordingly.

Poland is not a democracy. Our country is some kind of a Stalinist republic where the constitution and the laws are only meaningless decorations, an element of deception. People in the power system of the postcommunist junta destroy our lives with full impunity.

The human rights community overlooked a very important and fundamental problem. The perpetrators refined their killing ways since human rights policies were first formulated. Their methods became more sophisticated. They also worked hard on improving their deception skills. These days the target of an assassination is the mind and the soul. The body may live on, unless the target commits suicide, but it is only an empty living shell, a biological object.

Needless to say the whole Solidarity movement was organized and controlled by the Communist regime. Many people with good intentions joined but they had no influence. The Communists and their collaborators in the West created a false narrative in which the Communist regime fell under its own weight, defeated by a group of dissidents. This is complete nonsense.

Our family, including our daughter were attacked simultaneously. We were attacked in our workplaces and our daughter was attacked in her school. The methods used were typical of the Communist secret police. These were provocations designed to annihilate us psychologically, to destroy our professional lives, to destroy us as social personae, and finally to destroy us as a family.

The comedy in Kiev, Ukraine

The West seems to have never grasped the magnitude and the basic mechanisms of deception produced by the communist and the post-communist regimes of Eastern Europe. Right now we are witnessing a pro-European-and-anti-European comedy played in Kiev in Ukraine. It is no wonder the US makes so many foreign policy blunders when they cannot comprehend the basics of deception of its former cold-war enemies.

It is pretty clear that both the supposedly pro-European opposition and the anti-European camp are part of the same deception game. When so many things are laid to waste in Ukraine and there is no political culture and no real political freedom, would you expect the sudden emergence of a well-organized multi-week public protest in Ukraine? Of course not.

Both the "protesters" and the "regime" in Ukraine are members of the same power camp. They are friends. When you watch a theater spectacle and see the characters fight and maybe even kill one another, you know it is only a show. It is not real. What makes you think the Kiev event is something other than a spectacle?

Jamming

Yesterday, 28 November 2013 marks the beginning of a new trend: a more frequent use of the word euphemism (eufemizm in Polish).

Welcome to the Polish laboratory of deception. I used the word euphemism in a letter mailed on 24 November 2013 and posted in this blog on the same day. Now junta began jamming my message, trying to hide the original source, just like so many times before. Junta tries using the same keywords as the sources they try to jam.

Of course being jammed means I am an important source of ideas and information.

Active measures against family in Poland. Violations of human rights and civil liberties

I  released the following statement on 24 September 2013. The English statement closely follows my letter to the Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski mailed on 17 September 2013, 11:55 PM local time.

1/2013, Poland, 24 September 2013

A week ago, on the 64th anniversary of the attack of the Bolshevik Russia on Poland I wrote to the Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski to remind him that contrary to official proclamations, Poland has not regained full independence.

Repressions against my family are a measure of the enslavement of my country. I would like to point out that in February and March 2012 three simultaneous attacks were carried out against my family:

(1) I was attacked [in my workplace, a public institution],

(2) My wife [...] was attacked in [a public institution], where she is employed,

(3) My daughter [...] was attacked in her elementary school [...].

In each of these three cases the methods of provocation typical of communist secret services were used. The attacks were carefully planned, prepared and coordinated. This was an attempt to destroy all three of us simultaneously in our workplaces and in my daughter's school.

The operation against my family has not begun yesterday. It has been carried out for years. All sorts of attacks and harassment designed to make life difficult are not new to me. I am familiar with them since early childhood. Their continuation and the attempt to murder the social identity of each of us are typical Bolshevik methods. The destruction of the social function of a human being is a continuation of the genocide carried out by the Russian NKVD in the forest of Katyn in western Russia in 1940 and in other places of Soviet crimes. This means that despite official declarations the persecution of Poles continues.

Both my mother [...], maiden name [...], and my father [...] paid a very heavy price for sticking to their Polish identity.

Contemporary rulers of Poland are fully responsible for these active measures (Активные мероприятия), as they are known in the language of the communist intelligence services, taken against me and my family. Some circumstances indicate possible involvement of an intelligence service of a foreign country.

Letter from Poland

19 July 2013

Dear Prof. [...],

I read your interview published by the Polish newspaper [...] few days ago. I find it significant (and paradoxical) that speaking of the human capacity to do evil things [...] you and your interviewer chose to focus more on Nazism than on Communism. Open Nazism was relatively short-lived and is by now quite well understood. However the Communism was far more advanced form of social and psychological violence. It was long-lived and did not go away. It continues to exert negative influence on our societies. It was merely transformed and adapted to new circumstances after 1990. The ugly minds have perfected the methods to kill the mind and the soul of free people.

There is an ocean of difference between the democratic theater and the genuine democracy. In Poland, just like in Russia or Ukraine, we live on a completely different social and political planet. Here everything is faked: politics, media, academic research, nongovernmental organizations, entire institutions and whole areas of public life. The only real pluralism is the pluralism of lies broadcast to support this absurd theater. The social science has turned a blind eye to this farce played on such a grand scale.

Yours sincerely,
[...]

added 24 Nov. 2013:
P.S. The last sentence of the letter is an euphemism, of course.

The Critical Mind and the Copernican Lesson

There are two types of realities coexisting side-by-side in Poland. There is the world of the privileged members of the postcommunist junta. And there is psychological torture for those who the junta secretly classify as their enemy. Psychological torture often involves some form of slave intellectual labor and theft of intellectual property.

Contemporary Poland is a large militarised camp where the main force is the extremely disciplined social army of the junta. The junta encompasses all the beneficiaries of the former communist regime with their families. This army totally controls the entire sphere of public life in Poland and all state institutions, including political parties, the judiciary, the universities, the media.

The basic mechanism for advancing on the social ladder is the Stalinist one. [...]

The Nation's Memory

Józef Franczak, the last of unwavering defenders of Poland against the communist tyranny died on 21 October 1963 in Majdan Kozic Górnych near Lublin. Few people know his story. The memory of people and matters of fundamental importance to Poland is carefully hidden and falsified.

The memory of murderers torturing and murdering the Polish patriots in communist prisons after the Second World War is equally carefully hidden. Why is nobody boasting of his/her grandfather or father issuing death sentences to Poland's defenders or shooting them in the back of the head?

We are the children and grandchildren of those who remained loyal to our country and did not sell out under most difficult circumstances. The Bolshevik Russia and the postwar communist regime in Poland persecuted them most viciously and with heretofore unknown perfidy. Today we are the target of savage attacks whose aim is to deprive us of dignity, to kill our souls, to destroy our reputation, to eliminate us from public life, and even to cause death.

This is what we have to say to the Polish junta.

If you have enough courage to murder souls and minds of the descendants of those who were faithful to Poland and to fundamental values of our civilization, then you should also have the courage to proclaim it publicly. Do announce it on television, on radio, in the newspapers. Do sign appropriate documents and issue open decrees instead of clandestine orders. You have total control over Poland. What are you afraid of? Your junta can do everything in Poland, right?

Go ahead, let your words agree with your deeds. Do act publicly, do not confer in secret. Do hold press conferences. Please tell everyone why you are applying psychological torture in schools and universities. Be proud of this invention. Please tell the world who taught you to use torture and why you are so extremely keen to conduct this criminal activity.

President of the Junta

The Economist article "A popular president" published October 14, 2013 about the current Polish president Bronislaw Komorowski ignores the most basic facts.

Mr. Komorowski is closely associated with the former communist military intelligence services. He was the only MP of his party, Civic Platform, voting against the reform of the military intelligence and counterintelligence services (WSI - Wojskowe Służby Informacyjne) on May 24, 2006. The military intelligence survived unchanged all those years after 1990 and was operating practically outside any civilian control. They were led by Moscow-educated officers.

According to the report published at the dissolution of WSI in 2007, the military counterintelligence had at least 115 agents located in the media. Thus it is no suprise that media do not criticise Komorowski at all. To the contrary. They do everything to convey positive image of Komorowski.

Among the founders of the Civic Platform are people involved in the communist intelligence. Some prominent members of the party held top positions in the post-1990 counterintelligence. For example, Konstanty Miodowicz became head of counterintelligence in November 1990. Miodowicz's father was a prominent member of the communist politburo and head of the communist trade unions.

Komorowski's advisor, often speaking for him in the media, is prof. Nałęcz, a former communist party member between 1970 and 1990.

Komorowski invited the communist dictator Wojciech Jaruzelski to attend his inauguration in 2010.

As for the program A Good Environment for the Family "containing 44 proposals to improve family life in Poland", my family can tell you the truth about it. We are being persecuted for sticking to the core human values. We belong to the social group that was the subject of the genocide by both the Nazi Germany and the Soviet Russia with its communist eager servants in Poland during WWII and later. Our basic human rights are routinely violated. My wife and I were subject of countless provocations in our workplaces.

In February and March 2012 I, my wife, and our daughter were simultaneously viciously attacked in our jobs and in our daughter's school. This was an attempt to liquidate all three of us simultaneously. The attack was meticulously prepared, coordinated and executed.

Mr. Komorowski represents the communist junta which became the post-communist junta. "So the president became a keen supporter of the armed forces and the family." Armed forces and family. Exactly.

The rest is just deception.

Communist Junta Becomes Postcommunist Junta

It is finally time to realize that the communist system was not broken at all. The invisible ties that bound together the armies of the communist party, the secret police, the military and everyone else in the power system of a communist country have not gone away. They stick together in perfect solidarity. They populate different political parties (quite an interesting story in itself, almost unimaginable in the old democracies of the West), they associate themselves with the church, they control the media, they occupy the vast majority of all the positions of power, they control the legal system.

So the communism was not really broken. The communist junta changed the external decorations, changed their dresses and the rhetoric, and started a new chapter where they and their offspring pretend to be capitalists. The new guys are the old guys. They continue to run the show. Once you readjust your perception and stop fooling yourself you can see it very clearly. You learn to recognize the obvious lies in the media. You recognize how many supposedly heated political debates are merely prearranged games supposed to impress the unsuspecting public and foreign observers that there is a genuine political debate and a genuine difference of opinion.

The communists understood very long time ago that in order to run a successful tyranny they needed to manufacture an artificial opposition made of their own ranks. So today the key figure in the Polish media is Adam Michnik, son of a communist who was convicted for being a Soviet spy in the 1930s. It boggles the mind how on earth this guy was praised for being a leader of the so called "democratic opposition" to communism. Similarly for Lech Walesa, a Solidarity leader who was in fact an informer of the communist secret police. Anyone who knows the realities of life under communism would have to conclude that it was impossible to really have any sort of underground political activities. The communist secret police knew details of anyone who did not identify him/herself with the communist state.

Psychological Terror as a Tool of Systematic Liquidation of Individuals and Families in Poland

Fundamental human rights are systematically violated in Poland.

(1) The persecution is politically motivated.

(2) Job-related documentation concerning certain individuals is falsified.

(3) The targeted individuals are denied access to the fabricated documentation, in violation of the Polish constitution and the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.

(4) This activity bears characteristic marks of an organized crime. This is an organized crime whose objective is to deprive dignity, to kill the victim's soul, to destroy the reputation of the attacked person and to forcefully remove the person from the public and the social spheres of life. This is the killing of the social personae, the killing of the social dimension of the human being. It is a crime and should be recognized as such.

(5) The psychological terror is used routinely in Poland.

(6) It is a continuation of totalitarian methods of control and terror used under the communist dictatorship prior to 1990. Currently the psychological terror is executed in the context of a political system that only pretends to be democratic.

(7) These activities have full approval and enthusiastic support of the governing circles.

(8) These campaigns of terror are carefully prepared, scripted, coordinated and executed.

Various public proclamations of adherence to democratic principles by the authorities of all levels in Poland are meaningless noise, whose aim is to deceive and to mask the criminal intent.

The communist regimes have designated in the past not only individuals but also entire social groups as "outlaws", denied them basic rights and persecuted them. The methods of terror ranged from outright murder to secret sabotage of the various spheres of the victim's activity, including both professional and private life.

Today the terror against the "outlaws", or "outcasts", continues to be the main line of the political cleavage. Journalists and researchers alike are somehow strangely unable to see this simple truth. Of course one of the reasons for this cognitive failure is their participation in the junta of deceivers.

The huge, overwhelming pathologies of the entire sphere of the public life in Poland can only be compared to the total falsification of reality in the communist dictatorships.

Die Zersetzung

The international media and the academic researchers are surprisingly slow and ineffective in revealing the full extent of the program of the psychological harassment and terror carried out by the communist regimes of Eastern Europe.

The failure to reveal even the most basic information about the program, its techniques and its extent is apparently not accidental.

The current version of the English wikipedia entry on Stasi, the East German secret police, contains the following description of die Zersetzung (version dated July 2012, accessed 1 October 2013):

The Stasi perfected the technique of psychological harassment of perceived enemies known as Zersetzung – a term borrowed from chemistry which literally means "decomposition".
By the 1970s, the Stasi had decided that methods of overt persecution which had been employed up to that time, such as arrest and torture, were too crude and obvious. It was realised that psychological harassment was far less likely to be recognised for what it was, so its victims, and their supporters, were less likely to be provoked into active resistance, given that they would often not be aware of the source of their problems, or even its exact nature. Zersetzung was designed to side-track and "switch off" perceived enemies so that they would lose the will to continue any "inappropriate" activities.
Tactics employed under Zersetzung generally involved the disruption of the victim’s private or family life. This often included psychological attacks such as breaking into homes and messing with the contents – moving furniture, altering the timing of an alarm, removing pictures from walls or replacing one variety of tea with another. Other practices included property damage, sabotage of cars, purposely incorrect medical treatment, smear campaigns including sending falsified compromising photos or documents to the victim's family, denunciation, provocation, psychological warfare, psychological subversion, wiretapping, bugging, mysterious phone calls or unnecessary deliveries [...]

This article about Stasi is a perfect example of disinformation. Take a look at the following sentence from the excerpt:
Tactics employed under Zersetzung generally involved the disruption of the victim’s private or family life.

This is of course not true. The target's professional life was attacked as well. This is a critical omission. Also many important references are left out. This is a disinformation. The author of the Stasi entry seems to be a Stasi sympathizer and protector.

Also the following sentence is not true:
Zersetzung techniques have since been adopted by other security agencies, particularly the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).
Various forms of psychological attacks against a human being were invented by the Russian Bolsheviks themselves who transferred the method to the countries of Eastern Europe, which they occupied after WW2. The secret police of the communist regimes in those countries were subordinates of the Russian NKVD and later KGB or GRU.

Lies, Big Lies, Solidarity

The idea of creating an entirely faked, artificially manufactured movement, is not very original.

The lie of the Solidarity trade union can be summarized as the good Bolsheviks (or Bolsheviki, following the Russian pronounciation) who fought hard and eventually pushed out the bad Bolsheviks. This was naturally a myth created in the communist corridors of power, possibly in Moscow.

The idea may also have come from the communist supporters living in the western democracies.

manufacture: to create (something, such as a false story or explanation) by using your imagination often in order to trick or deceive someone

Solidarity of the Perpetrators

The so-called velvet revolution of the 1989-90 was a fraud. This was merely a transformation of the brutal regime into a new form. A form that was better adapted to a new reality. This new form of dictatorship imitates the language of mature democracies. It imitates their rhetoric. It imitates some democratic processes. But it is no more than an exercise in deception. Another act in the same theatrical play, where public rituals are supposed to trick people into believing that beneath the rituals there is a genuine democratic content. However beneath a thin veil of democratic rituals is the same stalinist iron fist. Wladyslaw Gomulka, the First Secretary of the communist party declared in his Moscow speech on 18 June 1945, "We will never relinquish the power that we once won" ("Raz zdobytej władzy nie oddamy nigdy"). And it is this quote that perfectly describes the post-1990 Poland. Gomulka's followers kept his promise. The much-publicized Lech Walesa's line "We, the People", opening his speech to the American Congress in 1991 was a lie. He should have said "We, the Junta".

The Polish communist junta seemed to give up power in a negotiated settlement with the representatives of the so-called democratic opposition in 1989. Much has been written about the apparent rise of the civil society in the communist countries and how it brought about the regime change. The course of events over the next twenty four years proved beyond any doubt that the 1989 settlement was merely a trick enabling the communists and their allies to remain in control and to continue occupying all positions of power. The "democratic opposition" was neither opposition nor was it democratic. It was a device created by the communist dictatorship in order to legitimize the departure from the dull, old-style regime and mask the transition to a new, more advanced form of tyranny.

What the Washington Post Did Not Tell You

The western media and the western think-tanks are either incredibly naive or purposely distorting the truth about the East-Central Europe. There is for example plenty of talk about the success of democracy in Poland (this is a wider issue, but let us just focus on Poland for the purpose of this letter), while there is really no evidence that democracy, democratic principles and mechanisms really took hold in Poland.

Jackson Diehl, the Deputy Editorial Page Editor of the Washington Post, wrote in his article Egypt 'democrats' abandon democracy, 22 July 2013:

What happened to Egypt's young liberals? Five years ago they were the most promising movement in an Arab world dominated by strongmen like Mubarak. Now the vast majority of them are cheering another general, coup leader Abdel Fatah al-Sissi [...]
The dizzying turnaround is unprecedented in the history of popular pro-democracy movements. Poland's Solidarity or the anti-Pinochet movement in Chile would never have dreamed of embracing their former oppressors.
Mr. Diehl is completely wrong on this issue. It would be interesting to know how he got to be so blind while holding an important job in a newspaper shaping the views of the ruling elites of the world's superpower. This short excerpt shows how the public opinion in the US is misinformed (some might say 'lied to') by those who are paid to monitor and interpret the world affairs. That sentence about Solidarity not embracing their former oppressors is simply a bold lie. Jackson Diehl worked as a WP's foreign correspondent in Warsaw for several years in the 1980s. One would expect him to know the basics of the Polish situation.

The myth of Solidarity was cooked up by the communists themselves.

Yes, there are several dominant parties in Poland, which is stereotypically taken as one of the signs of democracy. We have different newspapers and tv channels. However, when you just scratch the surface a little bit more, you can clearly see that this is just a deception.

One should remember that the rulers of the former communist countries perfected deception techniques since 1945. In 1989 they presented themselves as people without power. Corrupt regimes that supposedly crumbled under their own weight. Unfortunately this is not true. The communist regimes had plenty of time to prepare for the regime change so that the power remained in the same circles.

The Solidarity Fraud

Most people may find it hard to imagine. The Solidarity movement of the 1980s, the one that supposedly was decisive in freeing Poland from the chains of communism, was a communist trick and a huge lie.

The course of events over the next twenty four years proved beyond any doubt that the 1989 settlement was merely a trick enabling the communists to remain in control and to continue occupying all positions of power.

Let me make myself perfectly clear. There never was a civil society in Poland after 1945. The prevailing view that the rise of the civil society in the 1970s and 1980s somehow brought about the regime change and democratization is a fairy tale.
